I must insert a comment here regarding the weather. The weather has cooperated with us for each and every weekend encampment during the 2011 calender year. TILL this one!!! The weather on Saturday quite frankly SUCKED! Constant, relentless rain. It drove most of us into our ten man tent, where we huddled together like the brave soldiers we are. Surprisingly we had civilians that came out in the rain just to visit with us. Sunday was just the opposite with beautiful blue skies and warm temperatures. Hundreds of people visited the museum and many of them came to visit with us at the encampment. Hopefully, there will be some new members added to our ranks...

For the second year in a row the Atlantic Canadian World War Two Living History Association has won the award as best Heritage Display. Well done boys!!!

Only three times in it's history has the Citadel given the Honor of conducting the Guard at the main gate to a separate organization. On the 4th of June, 2011 that Honor was bestowed on The Atlantic Canadian World War Two Living History Association.
