We consider it an honour to set up our displays and attend parades across the Maritimes. We believe it's the least we can do for our Veterans. We are always interested in receiving Great War, Second World War and Korean War items from the public at our events. If you have any items that you would like to donate to the Association please feel free to send us a message through our Contact Us page, or visit with any of our members at any of our events. We are not only interested in the Great War, Second World War or Korean War dated items themselves, we would also like to know the history of any item donated to us. Who used it, when, where, that kind of thing. We wish to preserve the history that goes with any object before it is lost to time. If you have visited our web site or have met our members at one of the many events we do each year and you believe what we are doing is important, you can help us by making a cash donation. All money raised goes to help us with administrative costs as well as the purchase and preservation of Great War, WW2 and Korean War items. No items will be taken by the Association "ON LOAN", unless a formal LOAN AGREEMENT is first signed by the President of the Association and the person(s) who are LOANING items to the Association. Upon receiving the item(s), the Association Quartermaster will do an inventory of the item(s). A photocopy of the Quartermasters inventory check will be forwarded to the person(s) LOANING an item(s) to the Association. Any item(s) ON LOAN to the Association will be returned to the LENDER asap after receiving a written request from the LENDER. Sadly, we can no longer sit down with our Great War Veterans and learn first hand what it was like for them to serve on the front lines. They have all passed into history. There are no longer any Veterans of the Great War still living from any country involved in the conflict. We can now only learn of their deeds through books, old films and maybe the internet. Our Second World War and Korean War Veterans are passing away at an alarming rate and it will not be many more years before they, like our Great War Veterans will all have passed into history. Take some time to visit with them. Talk to them, listen to their stories, show your children what a real Hero looks like, but above all, shake their hands and thank them. WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
